Simple process. No surprises.
From first message to final file — here's exactly what working with us looks like. Clear timelines, fair terms, no hidden fees.
- /01
Brief & Consultation
Start by filling out our contact form or emailing us directly. Tell us what you're building, what you need, and when you need it. We follow up within 24 hours with focused questions to understand your goals, platform requirements, and style direction.
What we need from you
- Project description
- Platform (iOS · Android · Web · RN)
- Style references
- Timeline / deadline
- Budget range (optional)
- Engagement type (project or retainer)
- Special flags (NDA, rush, or confidential)
OutcomeA clear brief and shared understanding before any production starts. - /02
Style Direction
Before we animate a single frame, we share a moodboard and motion reference that captures the style we're aiming for. You approve or redirect at this stage — not after hours of production.
What we cover
- Color palette & visual tone
- Motion style (snappy / fluid / minimal)
- Character or illustration direction
- Speed & easing reference
OutcomeA style approval that locks in direction. No mid-project pivots. - /03
Production & Revisions
Once direction is approved, we move into production in Adobe After Effects using Bodymovin for Lottie export. For each scene or deliverable, we share a first draft via LottieFiles or video preview for your review. Two rounds of revisions included.
How we work
- Shape layers only (no rasterized)
- Physics-based easing in AE
- First draft preview via LottieFiles
- Feedback via Notion / Slack / email
- 2 revision rounds included
OutcomeA reviewed, revision-approved animation ready for final export. - /04
Final Delivery
Final files are packaged and delivered via Google Drive, WeTransfer, or a shared Notion handoff page. Every project includes clear implementation notes for your dev team — no follow-up emails needed to ship.
What ships with every project
- .json + .lottie files
- After Effects source (.aep)
- Figma preview for handoff
- Implementation notes
- LottieFiles hosted links (optional)
OutcomeEverything your team needs to ship. No back-and-forth.
Two revision rounds — included on every project.
Applied at the first draft (major feedback) and the second version (final fine-tuning). Additional revision rounds are available at a fixed hourly rate.
We prefer to get direction right before production starts — that's why Step 02 (Style Direction) exists. Most of our projects use just one revision round because we get it right at the start.
The business side.
Clear terms, no surprises. Here's how we structure projects on the commercial side — payments, IP, NDAs, cancellation.
Payment Terms
We structure payment based on project size, with clear schedules upfront and no surprises at delivery.
Accepted: PayPal and International bank transfer. All invoices in USD.
Intellectual Property & Source Files
Pre-payment: Creasheeps retains all rights to all files (drafts, sources, final).
On full payment — default license: Delivered files become yours for unrestricted use in your end product — including its public app/web release, in-product usage, and resale of that product.
Marketing, ads & social use: Promotional usage (paid ads, OOH, social campaigns, video commercials, marketing collateral) requires the Extended License add-on (+30% of project total) — grants unlimited-scope usage rights. Mention your intended use upfront so we scope correctly.
Source files (.aep, .ai, .blend): Included by default for Lottie and Motion Graphics. Available on request for other services.
Creasheeps retains: The right to showcase delivered work in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing — unless Portfolio Exclusion (+25%) is added.
NDA Coverage
We sign mutual NDAs at no extra cost. If your project requires one, send your template before the brief and we'll review within 24 hours. We also have our own template available on request. Custom enterprise NDAs are reviewed at our hourly rate.
Portfolio Exclusion
If your project is confidential and you'd rather we don't showcase it publicly, add Portfolio Exclusion (+25% of project total) at the brief stage. We confirm in writing before kickoff and keep the engagement out of our portfolio, case-study reel, and marketing — permanently.
Cancellation, pause, and payment-timing terms are spelled out in full on our Terms.
FAQ.
What if I need changes after final delivery?
Post-delivery changes are billed at our standard hourly rate. We'll send a quick estimate before starting — no surprises.
Can I request rush delivery?
Yes, for most project types. Rush delivery (1–2 business days) is available at an additional fee (+50% of project total). Mention your deadline in the contact form and we'll confirm availability before quoting.
Do you offer ongoing retainer arrangements?
Yes — our Motion Retainer starts at $1,800/mo for 10–15 dedicated hours per month. It's built for product teams shipping motion regularly — pause anytime, no lock-in. Reach out to discuss scope and cadence.
What if I need to use the work in marketing, ads, or social?
Default license covers in-app and product use. For marketing, ads, OOH, or social usage, we add an Extended License (+30% of project total) granting unlimited-scope usage rights. Mention your intended use in the contact form so we scope correctly.
Can you implement the animations in our codebase?
We provide implementation notes for every project and can do a walkthrough call (see Add-ons → Source File Walkthrough on the Services page). We don't typically write production code, but we'll work with your dev team to make integration painless.
Can you work with teams in different timezones?
Yes — we're based in Indonesia (UTC+7) and work with product teams across the US, Europe, Asia, and Australia. We schedule async-first with overlap calls when needed. Many clients find the timezone advantage helpful: you sleep, we work — reviews ready by your morning.
Sounds good? Let's get started.
Tell us about your project. We respond within 24 business hours — usually faster. Custom quote, no surprises.
